History
In 1971 a civil war coin was found on the estate by amateur archaeologist Frank Dover. (The Haunted House)
Barfield House hosted Carsely's charity film screening of 'The Lady Killers' which Agatha Raisin had helped organise and promote. (The Walkers of Dembley)
Charles occasionally rented out Barfield House as a venue for functions, such as weddings. (The Day the Floods Came)
