Florian Devere is a character in the third season of the Agatha Raisin television adaptation, originating in the novel Agatha Raisin and the Haunted House.

He is a BBC history presenter, and renowned expert on English history, with a beautiful Stuart residence in the Hebberdon area.

He was portrayed by Mark Aiken.

Florian was an Oxford History Don before being scouted for TV.

Florian is a friendly and charming man. Behind the friendly smile, however, Florian is contemptuous of history enthusiasts like Percy. He is equally dismissive of The Crossed Swords Society - their amateur re-enactments have no real historical value and only serve to distort the truth - to him they’re all ridiculous overgrown children playing dressing up.

Physical Appearance

Florian is a casually well dressed and sexy and man with tousled locks greying at the temples. He is described as the thinking woman’s fantasy man.
