Mrs. Josephs was a recurring character in the first season of the Agatha Raisin television adaptation, originating in the novel Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death.
She was a longtime Carsely resident and the village librarian.
She was portrayed by June Watson, and voiced by Joanna McCullum in the radio adaptation.

- In the Agatha Raisin television series, Mrs. Josephs was notably introduced as a major recurring character before the show's adaptation of Agatha Raisin and the Vicious Vet. This allowed for the character to be developed further than in the books and made her murder towards the end of the first season all the more shocking.
