"Lilac Lane was beginning to live up to its name. Lilac trees, heavy with blossom, scented the evening air. Wisteria hung in purple profusion over cottage doors."
Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death

Lilac Lane is a residential street in the fictional village of Carsely.

Agatha Raisin's cottage is located on this street, as is Sheila Barr's.

Lilac Lane is home to many lilac trees, for which it was likely named after. Wysteria plants were also commonly found growing up the sides of cottages on the lane. (BOOK: Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death)
