Raisin Promotions was a public relations firm set up by Agatha Raisin in London. Following Agatha's early retirement and move to Carsely, the business was sold to Mr. Wilson, who subsequently shut down the business.
Agatha built up the business over years of hard work. When she decided to take early retirement, she sold the business to Mr. Wilson of Pedmans, a competitor firm. Agatha was promised that they'd keep the business exactly the same as how she was leaving it, keeping on all of the staff. However, Pedmans did not need a second office and, according to Mr. Wilson, most of the staff were happy to accept the redundancy pay Pedmans offered. (Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death)
