She is portrayed by Caroline Langrishe.
Sheila visited Carsely to see her brother after he came back from his successful book tour. When he soon disappeared on the same night his friend Melissa Sheppard was found dead in Agatha's cottage, Sheila teamed up with Agatha to track him down and clear his name. She later admitted to Agatha that in addition to visiting James, she had come to Carsely to escape from her own marriage problems. (Agatha Raisin & the Love from Hell)
Sheila is described as being an angular woman, with a receding chin and rather bulbous eyes. She wore her hair pinned back from her face in rolls, much in the style of the forties. (Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death)
