The Day the Floods Came is the sixth episode of the first season of Agatha Raisin. The episode was written by Chris Niel and directed by Roberto Bangura. It aired July 12, 2016 on Sky One.

The episode is based on the Agatha Raisin book of the same name.

Young bride Kylie Stokes is found dead, her body apparently drowned in a flash flood in the area. But as horrid details surrounding her death come to light, Agatha resolves to crack the case herself.

The village is in shock when a young bride is found dead in the river, shortly after her wedding at Charles's manor. Despite being warned off by the police and (rather suspiciously) by Charles, Agatha decides to investigate, posing as a TV producer alongside Roy, Gemma and James to dig up the bride's sordid history.

However, when Agatha is struck down in the street, she starts to question whether she ought to have listened to Bill and Charles's advice. And when a man disappears and a local photography enthusiast offers a vital clue to his whereabouts, Agatha once again walks straight into danger.
