The Quiche of Death is the pilot episode of the Agatha Raisin radio drama. It was adapted by David Semple from M.C. Beaton's book of the same name and directed by Carol Smith. It first aired May 13, 2003 on BBC Radio 4.

Struggling to adapt to life in a Cotswold village after a lifetime spent in public relations, Agatha Raisin determines to make her mark by winning the local baking competition. When the judge is poisoned by her efforts, she investigates and uncovers a web of extra-marital sex and pastry-based favours. So much for the quiet life!
