The Witch of Wyckhadden is the seventh episode of the first season of Agatha Raisin. The episode was written by Chris Murray and directed by Geoffrey Sax. It aired July 19, 2016 on Sky One.

The episode is based on the Agatha Raisin book of the same name.


Ditching Carsely for the vast Wyckhadden Hotel to escape personal embarrassment, Agatha finds herself in the centre of another scandal when local 'witch' Francie Juddle is discovered bludgeoned to death.


Agatha turns to a special hair tonic supplied by a local witch after a dying-disaster makes her hair fall out. When the sorcerer is later found bludgeoned to death, Agatha becomes embroiled in the case. As she begins to investigate, she finds herself falling for police chief Jimmy Jessop. However, Agatha's love life is about to get incredibly complicated...
